Due to exponential growth, they now have a position for an experienced accountant to join their Kingaroy office.YOUR NEW ROLEWorking in a predominantly autonomous environment, this position will see you take ownership of the role and be responsible for performing and managing all aspects of accounting, payroll and financial functions to support the company. YOUR NEW ROLE

YOUR DUTIES

  • Preparing Payroll, BAS, GST, FBT, PAYG, Payroll Tax and Superannuation
  • Budgeting and cash flow forecasting
  • Financial Reporting
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Invoicing
  • Bank and credit card reconciliation
  • Manage internal and external audits
  • Prepare monthly management reports
  • Asset management
  • Develop, maintain and analyse budgets
  • Assisting with WHS and general administration duties

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a similar role desirable
  • Experience with Xero or similar accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial reporting systems
  • Relevant Degree qualification
  • Ability to work to and meet deadlines
  • Previous experience in financial reporting
  • CA or CPA qualified desired
  • Highly organised and capable of working independently
  • Professional presentation
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Flexible, can-do approach
