THE COMPANYIs a family owned business located in Stanthorpe, which continues to grow from strength to strength since it commenced operation in 2003 and takes pride in their provision of excellent customer service with a good old fashioned work ethic. THE POSITION AND DUTIESOur client is seeking a qualified Boilermaker/Fabricator who is committed to providing quality workmanship for this full time, Monday to Friday position; someone who is not only physically fit, but has great communication skills as well as a sense of humour and a drive to succeed.The role involves project work and ongoing workshop tasks, predominantly working on agriculture machinery. Working alongside the mechanics you will be carrying out repairs to a range of equipment, including welding and your daily duties will vary depending on worklists. SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant Trade Qualifications and Certificates
  • Experience in Stick and MIG Welding and Oxy Cutting
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and detailed drawings
  • Sound mechanical and machinery knowledge, preferably in the field of Agriculture 
  • Competency with computers, diagnostic equipment and databases
  • Previous experience with CAD Design and 3D Application desirable
  • Current C Class Open Licence
  • Forklift Licence, MR/HR Licence and a current First Aid Certificate are advantageous
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Self motivated
  • High regard for WHS
