Operations Administrator


Our client is a highly respected bulk fuel transport company that has been operating for 20 years. Their current administrator is going on maternity leave and they are looking for an experienced person to provide a high level of administrative support to the company. Due to the nature of the position, it is preferred that you have 1 - 2 years experience in a similar role in the transport industry.Along with general office administration tasks you will also be required to:Create and process daily manifest documentation for drivers, including preparation of delivery dockets, matching manifest and consignment note recordsCollect and process proof of delivery docketsBe responsible for ensuring that all data entry and paperwork (including dockets, run sheets etc) are fully and accurately completed and sent to the relevant internal departments or clients as requiredLiaise with the transport team and external customers as requiredCollate driver work diary records and monitor AFM and BFM fatigue management system dataConduct quarterly audits for AFM and BFM accreditation schemeProvide ongoing advice and instruction to drivers in relation to NHV driving hours (fatigue management)Maintain the Health Safety Environment Quality SystemInvestigate and solve, where appropriate, discrepancies in paperwork and inform relevant personnel in accordance with company procedureProvide assistance with accounts payable and receivable, records management and end of month processes.You will need to have:1 - 2 years industry experience ideally with a company that operates interstateAttention to detail and be able to work autonomously Experience with Microsoft Excel and QuickbooksA personality that can work collaboratively with the drivers and the owners of the business to maintain records in accordance with company policy and compliance with the relevant statutory authoritiesTo apply, please submit your covering letter and resume via the link below.   • Be responsible for ensuring that all data entry and paperwork (including dockets, run sheets etc) are fully and accurately completed and sent to the relevant internal departments or clients as required
  • Liaise with the transport team and external customers as required
  • Collate driver work diary records and monitor AFM and BFM fatigue management system data
  • Conduct quarterly audits for AFM and BFM accreditation scheme
  • Provide ongoing advice and instruction to drivers in relation to NHV driving hours (fatigue management)
  • Maintain the Health Safety Environment Quality System
