They are now focused on growing their business within Toowoomba and the Darling Downs region and are seeking an experienced and high achieving Insurance Sales Consultant to join their team to actively help their company continue on its current growth trajectory.THE NEW ROLEWorking predominantly business hours, Monday to Friday, from their local head office here in Toowoomba and reporting directly to the owners, you will be comfortable working both autonomously and within a small team environment. In this position your main responsibility will be to create new opportunities for growth and build up the company’s client portfolio.Your confident personality will shine through as you keep your day filled with managing and coordinating new business opportunities and generating leads through pro-active cold calling, attending client appointments, negotiating and closing sales. Bringing to the position your gregarious nature, you will happily represent the business by attending various networking events around the region, developing and building strong rapport with your clients. You will also be expected to attend corporate training and development courses as required. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

We are seeking an amazing sales consultant who can bring to the company:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in General Insurance products
  • Tier 1 RG-146 Insurance Broking compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and autonomously
  • Confident and engaging communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven track record of achieving KPI’s
  • Excellence in building, establishing and maintaining client relationships
  • Current drivers licence
  • Reliable, presentable vehicle
