Our Client is a well-known and respected National Transport Company with a fleet of over 150 vehicles that has been servicing Australia for over 30 years. They provide safe, reliable transport and storage backed by professional customer service. Their team in Toowoomba is currently looking for an experienced Office Administrator, who is a keen learner and wanting to grow their knowledge of the industry and its associated entities.THE ROLEWorking in this busy and diverse role you will hit the ground running to assist the administration staff in their Head Office. The position focuses on debtors and creditors, and requires the flexibility to assist and relieve when necessary in the storage and distribution side of the business.Your excellent organisational skills and attention to detail will stand out and your confidence with computing packages will be utilised. You will be working with their JAIX freight management and accounts program, including handling inbound enquiries (in person, by phone and by email); tracking freight; and assisting customers with their accounts, collections and drop offs. The storage side of the business requires utilising their JAIX Warehouse Management System (WMS).Your activities will include:Recording of customers' goods in storeStocktakesConsignment note managementData entry and record keepingCoordinating pickupsHandling customer inquiriesGeneral administration dutiesHours of work are a standard 8 hour day falling between 7.00am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is required as your start time may rotate depending on relief requirements at their storage and distribution facility.
