Primarily performing manual labour you will be working in a team environment, Monday to Friday, a 38 hour week (and subject to seasonal demands, weekends) travelling in and around Toowoomba providing high quality garden maintenance and assisting with various landscape labouring tasks.

YOUR DUTIES

  • Garden and Grounds Maintenance
  • Lawn Maintenance and Mowing (Push, Electric and Zero Turn)
  • Edging, Hedging, Whipper Snipping and Brush Cutting
  • Weed Control
  • Pruning and Shaping
  • Planting and Mulching
  • Pest and Disease Management
  • Spraying and Fertilising
  • General Labouring and Rubbish Removal
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Previous paid experience in a commercial gardening environment
  • Extensive experience using garden related machinery and power tools 
  • Ability to maintain machinery and equipment
  • Good knowledge of plants, pests and diseases
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team and independently 
  • Ability to identify problems and provide solutions
  • Current C Class open licence
  • Construction Industry White Card
  • ACDC licence/chemical spraying certificate and First Aid preferred
  • Qualifications in gardening, landscaping or similar desired
  • Machinery tickets advantageous
