Medical Administration Officer


With their current support person taking maternity leave, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an efficient, empathetic and flexible person to fill the Medical Administration role within this small team environment, for a minimum period of 6 months with our client.As the part-time Medical Administration Officer, you will provide all frontline assistance in addition to managing the necessary administrative work associated with this role. Your duties will include (but not be limited to):Providing exceptional customer service to patients and their familiesManaging Telephone enquiriesAccurate scheduling and management of appointmentsMaintaining patient databaseManaging calendar and client recordsFormal letter and report writing (via dictaphone)Billing and Eftpos transactionsManaging incoming and outgoing mailBringing to the role your medical background, excellent attention to detail and Genie experience, you will have a mature outlook, be efficient but not abrasive and have fabulous time management skills, whilst simultaneously understanding and maintaining the confidential and sensitive aspects surrounding this position.At times you will be required to work autonomously, yet be flexible to work within the last minute demands associated with a busy specialists office, A handover period with training will be provided.To apply for this position please submit your resume along with a covering letter.    Australia - QLD Toowoomba & Darling Downs

  • Accurate scheduling and management of appointments
  • Maintaining patient database
  • Managing calendar and client records
  • Formal letter and report writing (via dictaphone)
  • Billing and Eftpos transactions
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail
