Sentry Spotter - Pipeline Maintenance

  • 3 Week Contract (approximately) Commencing May
  • Weekend Work and Overtime
  • Toowoomba Region

Our client requires the services of a Spotter to assist their team who will be undertaking pipeline maintenance and repairs in the Toowoomba region commencing in early May for approximately 3 weeks. 

THE ROLE

  • Spotting for the pipeline maintenance team
  • Lowering and raising people in and out of pipelines and manholes
  • Traffic management
  • Commencing anytime from 6:00am subject to specific site location
  • Weekend work and overtime will be required
  • General labouring required when not spotting

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate MUST: 

  • Be physically fit and healthy
  • Hold a
    • Current Working at Heights Certification
    • Current Confined Spaces Ticket
    • Gas Testing Atmospheres (obtained within the past 2 years)
    • Construction White Card
    • Current manual drivers licence
  • Possess a reliable vehicle to get too and from job sites

The following criteria is desirable:

  • Plastics handling experience
  • PVC welding experience
  • Previous Traffic Management Experience
  • MR Licence
  • Current Hep A & B vaccinations
  • Own PPE and Safety Harness
