Our client is seeking a temporary administration officer to cover 4 - 6 weeks of sick leave. They are a well-established Toowoomba business with a friendly working environment. Temporary Administration Officer

Our client is seeking a temporary administration officer to cover 4 - 6 weeks of sick leave. They are a well-established Toowoomba business with a friendly working environment. The work day is expected to be 8:00am to 3:00pm, but is flexible for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for:

  • General administration duties
  • Bank statement processing
  • Balancing of tills
  • Processing customer credits
  • Batching, processing and reconciling invoices for payment
  • Lodging credit claims
  • Maintaining spread sheets
  • Petty cash reconciliation
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Preparing the Telstra Summary
  • Processing supplier payments
  • Processing rebates

You must have:

  • Prior experience in an office environment or similar role
  • A mature outlook
  • Experience in interacting with internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to be thorough and detail-oriented
  • Demonstrated adherence to meet deadlines
  • A willingness to be dedicated to the job
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Previous bookkeeping experience preferred
