Due to continued growth my client seeks the services of a Builder's Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. ABOUT THE ROLEReporting to the Builder, you will assist with the day to day operation of the business. Working a 38-hour week Monday to Friday and having a hands-on attitude, you will take the load off the builder by performing general tasks that will allow him to do what it is he is good at – liaising with his clients and designing/building quality constructions. You will work autonomously and within a team on and off construction sites so having some of your own tools will be an advantage, but not essential. ABOUT THE ROLE

YOUR NEW DUTIES

  • Assisting tradesmen on construction sites
  • Running errands
  • Erecting signage
  • Basic construction management
  • Maintaining a positive image of the company at all times
  • Other duties as directed by the builder

 

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE

  • A current construction White card
  • A Manual 'c' class driver's licence
  • The ability to work independently and safely within a construction environment
  • Competence in operating power tools and machinery
  • Good time management skills
  • Honesty, reliability and a great work ethic
  • Effective communication skills
  • Being physically fit and agile
  • Possessing a clean criminal background
