Beginning in the 1950's the family is one the area's largest employers.  The Wickham Group continues to grow and thrive, and now require the services of an experienced and career driven Group Finance Manager to join their team. YOUR NEW ROLEIs ideal for an analytical and forward-thinking business professional who is looking for that opportunity to grow with the company and become a crucial member of the finance management team. YOUR NEW ROLE

Is ideal for an analytical and forward-thinking business professional who is looking for that opportunity to grow with the company and become a crucial member of the finance management team. Reporting to the CFO and working from both the Killarney and Warwick offices as the business requires, you will be responsible for the maintenance of a financial reporting framework which allows for quality planning, controlling, monitoring and decision making within both the freight and farming businesses within the company.

 

YOUR DUTIES INCLUDE but are not limited to: -

  • The production of timely monthly board packs for the directors and managers
  • Supporting weekly KPI reports
  • Ensuring all figures and reports contain accurate and reliable information
  • Problem solving and the correction of any issues regarding reporting before deadlines

  • Project costing and analysis
  • Meeting BAS & other department due dates
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures and relevant legislation

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, possessing CA or CPA qualifications is an advantage
  • At least 5 to 10 years' experience in a corporate accounting role within a medium to large business
  • Excellent communication Skills
  • Demonstrated reporting ability
  • Knowledge of Transport and or Farming accounting practices - advantageous
