They pride themselves on being family friendly, with a great team culture, and now due to exponential growth they have a position for an experienced Senior Farm Worker to join their team.YOUR NEW ROLEThis permanent position, will see you take ownership of the role and be responsible for performing all aspects of day to day farming operations and maintenance duties, and assisting with the development of future planning within the company.  Your adaptable, hands-on approach, initiative and solid work ethic will come to the fore as you constantly monitor the crops for their health, identifying weed, insect and leaf conditions, and assessing the need for timely insecticide and herbicide management. Your duties will cover a variety of tasks, with your prime responsibilities being:Developing operational timelines for optimum planting and harvesting schedulesDevelopment, co-ordination and supervision of staff resources to meet operational goalsAssist with the design, development and implementation of WHS proceduresOversee and perform cropping operations, including soil testing, planting and fertigationPreparation, operation and maintenance of farm machineryDetailed production scheduling and reportingABOUT YOUYou are a self-motivated, hardworking, honest and enthusiastic person.  You know how to use and maintain various farm machinery and equipment, such as tractors and harvesters, and can work in all weather conditions on all terrains.
